
The Beaverton Community Band performs A Very Brassy Holiday Celebration Concert at 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the Auditorium of the Beaverton City Library, 12375 SW 5th Street, Beaverton, OR.
A Very Brassy Holiday Celebration Concert features a brass quintet, a saxophone ensemble, and a brass choir, each assembled from the ranks of the Beaverton Community Band, playing everyone’s holiday favorites.
This special holiday performance includes compositions of Raymond David Burkhart, George F. Handel, Pentatonix, and others. Get into the holiday spirit as the groups play standards including “The First Noel,” “Joy to the World,” “Carol of the Bells,” and “Hallelujah.”
There’s even something to warm the hearts of those who may be feeling less festive, as the program includes a brass rendition of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”
All ensembles will be under the direction of Martin Sobelman, Director of the Beaverton Community Band.
