Beaverton Civic Theatre: Call for Auditions, Spring Classes Announced

The Beaverton Civic Theatre will hold open auditions for Mary Poppins: A Concert Production, a musical based on
the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney Film. Original Music and Lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert
B. Sherman. Book by Julian Fellowes. New Songs and Additional Music and Lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony
Drewe. Co-Created by Cameron Mackintosh. All cast and crew roles are volunteer. Auditions will be held Thursday, April 2nd from 6:30 – 8:30 PM and Sunday, April 5th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Beaverton City Library Auditorium. More information about what to prepare at

Musical Theatre Dance (Tweens, ages 8-12)

Explore the fundamentals of movement and choreography on stage through creating and learning choreography to popular musicals.

Explore and refine the building blocks of characters and storytelling. Students work with monologues and scenes to build skills for their “acting toolbox”.
