Ring in the holidays with this fresh, swingin’ musical revue! From classic Sinatra tunes to Rat Pack-ish versions of seasonal favorites, this show is complete with 40 popular hits including ‘Fly Me to The Moon,’ ‘You Make Me Feel So Young,’ ‘New York, New York,’ ‘Mistletoe and Holly,’ ‘The Christmas Song,’ ‘Silver Bells,’ ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas,’ and many more. Featuring a cast of four and a three-piece band, Christmas My Way invites you to pour a good stiff eggnog and celebrate the holidays Sinatra-style!
While the company is still not able to perform in person, Broadway Rose plans to safely rehearse the musical production, record it, and stream it online as it did with their recent production of Daddy Long Legs. “You don’t get to hear this kind of singing very much nowadays,” says director Dan Murphy. “We are excited to be doing this show not only for the Christmas tunes, but for some of the popular hits Sinatra made famous, and you can enjoy them right in the comfort of your home.”
The Broadway Rose production will be directed and choregraphed by Dan Murphy with music direction from Darcy White. The creative team includes Phil McBeth (Lighting Designer), Allison Dawe (Costume Designer), Liz Carlson and Jeff Duncan (Prop Designers), Brian Karl Moen (Sound Designer), Mark Daniels (Videographer), and Jessica Junor (Production Stage Manager).
The cast comprises Charles Cook, Courtney Temple, Joe Theissen, and Malia Tippets.
Broadway Rose is taking tremendous precaution to keep its staff and artists safe during the rehearsal and recording process. The small production team is maintaining social distancing and wearing masks, and will adhere to the stringent backstage protocols that the company developed. The performers and musicians maintain social distance while performing, with the exception of Joe Theissen and Malia Tippets who are married. They will be wearing masks when they are off stage.
