Please join Young Audiences along with some of the region’s most innovative design thinkers for our 4th annual celebration of equitable education, creativity in the classroom, and sustainable fashion benefiting our arts education programs including The Right Brain Initiative. If you’re unfamiliar with SHIFT, it’s a fashion show fundraising event that showcases beautiful garments made from upcycled and found materials.
Scheduled for May 13, 2021, SHIFT will look a lot different this year. The fashion show will be a virtual event and will feature students and their professional apparel designer mentors collaboratively designing a new garment for one of Portland’s best drag performers.
