This scholarship program is very similar to that of former years but we have added a few options and made some adjustments to be more inclusive of our education and student communities and given the changes we all have faced during COVID. These changes include:

  •  Two tracks:
    • 1. Scholarships for high school seniors of academic equivalent (financial
awards up to $2,500 per awardee)
    • 2. Emerging Talent Awards for high school juniors or academic equivalent
      (non-monetary, recognition-based award)
  • We are now allowing students in non-traditional formal learning programs
to be eligible and encourage that they apply.
  • We are allowing letters of recommendation from guidance counselors and
mentors in addition to visual art and performing arts educators.

• We are allowing coverage of expenses beyond tuition alone on a case-by-
case basis.

If you have questions regarding the application process or requirements, please contact Kourtnee Buechner at [email protected] or call (503) 214-0461.

Awards will be announced in May 2022 and a celebration will be held at that time and depending on recommended health and safety COVID protocol required by the State of Oregon, this event will take place in person at The Beaverton Building or another designated venue.
