To celebrate the generosity of our community, we’re bringing together three amazing artists to perform LIVE on Instagram this Giving Tuesday! Join us on Instagram on December 1 from 5:00-5:45pm PT to watch speed painting artist Amy Burkman, hear local poet Amelia Ettinger read from her new book, and experience Ballet Folklorico Academy! Be the highest donor within 48 hours of our Giving Tuesday event on Instagram or through our Donation page, and as a gift, receive the original painting the created live by Amy Burkman or one of a limited number of digital copies. *Read complete entry rules below.*
Tuning in is easy. Sign in to Instagram on your phone, visit Tualatin Valley Creates’ profile page (@tualatinvalleycreates), and click on our profile picture which will say “live” during the event.
Funds raised during Giving Tuesday help cover the costs of low- and no-cost professional development workshops, community services like our regional calendar ($1,200/yr), outreach that gets opportunities and resources to artists ($1,020/yr), and graduate stipends for the Arts & Culture Leadership Incubator ($500/participant), just to name a few.

*Qualifying donations must take place on Instagram or through TVC’s website (www.tvcreates.org/donate) between 5:00pm PST on December 1, 2020 and 5:00 pm PST on December 3, 2020. Donate between December 1 at 5pm PST and December 3 at 11:59pm PST to win the artwork created during Amy’s live performance and help us raise money to support TVC!
Amy Burkman is a live art entertainer and professional muralist with a passion for helping others through art. As a speed painter, Amy transforms a blank canvas into a work of art in less than 10 minutes to raise money for important causes. She’s raised over $1 million dollars for organizations including cancer research, animal rescue groups, children’s hospitals and many others.
Winners are responsible for shipping costs. Estimated shipping cost for a 30”x40” stretched canvas within the US is $200 (except HI & AK). Estimated shipping cost for a 12”x16” print within the US is $10 (except HI & AK).
Anyone who donates can win art!
1st Prize: The person who makes the largest donation wins the speed painting, signed by Amy. (30”x40” stretched canvas)
2nd Prize: The second highest donor wins a high quality print of the speed painting image, signed by Amy. (12”x16” print)
