Grant Opportunity – City of Tigard’s Downtown Recovery Program

The City of Tigard’s urban renewal agency — the Town Center Development Agency (TCDA) — is offering a grant to cover the cost of repairs to commercial buildings in the City Center Urban Renewal District that were damaged during the January 7, 2021 protest. Up to $20,000 in urban renewal funding is available for this program. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.

We understand that this is already a very difficult time for business owners and the damage incurred to downtown properties was very unfortunate. To assist you during this time, we have created the Tigard Downtown Recovery Program to pay 100% of the cost of repairs to damages sustained during the riot and/or the cost of preparation materials used to protect your building. If either of these pertain to your property, please consider applying.

An application with full program details can be found here.
