Grant Opportunity: Metro Nature in Neighborhoods Community Grants (pre-applications due 11/2023)

Nature in Neighborhoods Community Grants

Community Stewardship and Restoration grant pre-applications due November 2023

Thank you to the voters for once again choosing to invest in nature and pass Measure 26-225, Metro’s five-year local option levy renewal. The approval continues to fund Metro’s efforts to protect water quality, restore habitat and provide safe and welcoming public access to more than 18,000 acres of parks, natural areas, cemeteries and boat ramps. It also funds community-led efforts to connect people with nature through the Nature in Neighborhoods community grants program.

This year’s Nature in Neighborhood community grants program funding opportunity will focus on Community Stewardship and Restoration projects. We decided to move the funding opportunity later in the year so that grantees will not have to work on the grant application during the busy spring and summer seasons.

Community Stewardship and Restoration grant pre-applications due to Metro in November 2023.
