Tualatin Valley Creates seeks experienced artists, culture workers, producers, makers, and creative entrepreneurs working in Washington County who want to take their practice to the next level to join the first cohort of the Arts & Culture Leadership Incubator.
Part leadership development, part business incubator, the Arts & Culture Leadership Incubator aims to challenge, inspire, empower, and motivate.
Led by a four-member faculty team, a central goal of the program is to empower bold arts and culture leaders from traditionally underrepresented populations in Washington County who will help build a thriving, inclusive cultural and creative environment.
Select participants will be part of cohort of diverse arts, culture, and creative leaders who will create deep connections over the six month program through peer networking, mentorship, and learning.
The Incubator will be free to participants, and those who complete the program have an opportunity to earn a $500 stipend to help advance their work.
Incubator sessions will run from October 2019 to March 2020 from 10am to 3pm on the first Saturday of the month in Hillsboro.
Traditionally under-served populations in Washington County include people under 40, people of color, LGBTQ+, people experiencing income disparity, and people with disabilities, among others.
