Associate Curator of Wildlife – High Desert Museum

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide programs and exhibit support as part of the Wildlife Team at the High Desert Museum.The Associate Curator is responsible for the safety, well-being and exhibition of assigned animals. Experience with wildlife husbandry, training and handling is essential.The Associate Curator of Wildlife conducts public programs with and without live animals, and must have excellent interpersonal, presentation and written skills. A positive demeanor, high level of professionalism and the ability to learn new skills quickly are necessary traits. We look at each candidate in terms of combined skills; different combinations of skills can serve to qualify for the position.

Archivist and Administration Support – Rural Organizing Project

Rural Organizing Project (ROP) is  seeking a trained archivist who can also provide basic nonprofit administrative support to fill out a full-time position to help us build our Rural Organizing Library and Archive, an interactive resource for rural Oregonians that will support the capacity of autonomous human dignity groups to engage in impactful local organizing in their communities across rural and frontier Oregon and beyond.

Executive Director – Museum of North Idaho

The Museum of North Idaho (MNI) seeks a Full-Time Executive Director (ED) for a unique and rewarding opportunity to lead
the transition of a well-established museum to a new premier regional museum. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, the ED assists in articulating a compelling vision and a strategic business plan inclusive of fundraising and operations to grow and optimize revenue streams for a long term sustainable museum. The ED oversees the current museum operations, manages staff and volunteers and will work with the Board to determine transition plans from the current facility to the new building.
