The City of Beaverton is pleased to welcome the newest member of the Cultural Inclusion Program team: Paolo Esteban.
Paolo is a proud Filipino American “Beavertonian” with a strong organizing and community engagement background working primarily with historically marginalized communities in Oregon. Before coming to the city Paolo wore many hats as a community organizer for the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO). He first started volunteering with the city as a founding member of the Diversity Advisory Board, and has since worked with the Neighborhood & Events Program.
Paolo is both excited and honored to serve his hometown in his new role as the Equity and Inclusion Specialist. With this position, he has made it his personal obligation to ensure Beaverton is a place where all can find culturally competent engagement, inclusiveness, and access to the rights, resources and recognition to thrive to their fullest potential.
Paolo can be reached at: pesteban@BeavertonOregon.gov or 503-526-2439.
