Registration Open for Living History Conference in Forest Grove

The Western Region of the Association of Living History Farm and Agricultural Museums (ALHFAM) will partner with the Friends of Historic Forest Grove for a conference on living history techniques and interpretive programming. The conference will run from October 16th  through the 18th in Forest Grove. Attendees from six states will assist with a project at the FHFG facility using their professional skills to help organize archival files. ALHFAM is the foremost organization in the field of historical interpretation.

The conference will feature presentations on Volunteer Programming Development, Interpretation and other topics relating to life at the end of the Oregon Trail. In addition, attendees will visit local sites, including Old College Hall and the A.T. Smith House in Forest Grove.  Registration is open to ALHFAM members and non-members at https://www.alhfam.org/.
