The Right Brain Initiative and Young Audiences of Oregon and SW Washington are hosting a joint call for teaching artists who would like to be on the roster of either organization. Our priorities this year at Right Brain are to find artists who live and work outside of the greater Portland metro area and artists who teach in Spanish and English.
We have two upcoming info sessions in Hillsboro. The first will be on May 1 from 6:30-7:30 at El Centro de Prosperidad, 400 E Main #110, Hillsboro OR 97123; the second is May 2 from 1:00-2:30 at the Shute Branch Library, 775 E 10th, Hillsboro OR 97123. Both of these events are designed for teaching artists who are interested in joining our roster as well as artists who are interested in learning more about what it means to be an independent teaching artist on a Right Brain or Young Audiences roster. The session on May 2 will also include representatives from Oregon Ballet Theater, Walters Cultural Arts Center and Latino Network.
