BEAVERTON, Ore. – Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Beaverton Arts Mix! (BAM!) Art Show and Sale. The event is Oct. 4 through 7 at Beaverton City Library located at 12375 SW 5th St. Monetary prizes and ribbons will be awarded.
All 2D and 3D visual artists in Oregon are welcome to apply. Entries must be submitted online by Tuesday, Jul. 17 at 11 p.m. (Pacific Time). Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance will occur by Friday, Aug. 17. After, accepted artists will receive guidelines on delivering work to the event.
Artists may submit up to four works for consideration. There is no entry fee or exhibit fee for participants, and the city does not collect a commission on art sales during the event. All artwork must be for sale. Work previously accepted to BAM! will not be considered. Students are encouraged to apply.

BAM! artists will be honored at an artist reception on Friday, Oct. 5. A free Quick Draw event on Saturday, Oct. 6 will be open to artists (BAM! and non-BAM!) of all disciplines and media. A quick draw is a fast-paced plein air (in the open air) art contest. Artists are invited to venture outside of their studios into nature and discover Beaverton, while viewers can witness art happening in their community. Additional program and event information will be available in September.
