You can now view the Sherwood High School annual AP Studio Art Exhibition virtually! Congratulations to the 2020 graduating class.
This digital gallery showcases the work students have created over the course of the past year for submission to the AP Studio Art Exam. Students create a portfolio of work to demonstrate inquiry through art and development of materials, processes, and ideas over the course of a year. Portfolios include works of art or design, process documentation, and written information about the work presented. In May, students submit portfolios for evaluation based on specific criteria, which include skillful synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas and sustained investigation guided by questions through practice, experimentation, and revision. The College Board requires students to create a Sustained Investigation, a body of 10 works that reflect students own ideas, skills and learning. Any subject, content, style, media, and technique is acceptable as noted by the College Board for AP evaluation.
This gallery represents most of our AP Studio Artists. Some chose not to participate in this public forum for presentation.
