The A Framer’s Touch Pop-Up Show is now an online auction as well as gallery show. The show begins August 1, and the auction will be on Wednesday, Aug 27 through our Facebook page (facebook.com/aframerstouch).
The show is open to all local artists. They can submit up to 2 pieces of original, family-friendly 2D fine art that represents what inspires them about Oregon. There is a $5 fee per artwork submitted, and the gallery will also retain a 5% processing and handling fee for each sold piece. Registration is open NOW and closes on July 10th. The physical artwork will be hung in the gallery starting Aug 1st. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase artwork at a set fee of $100 before the auction. Work that is not pre-sold moves on to the online live auction on the 27th. Bidding for all work will start at $40. Basically, there will be 4 potential sale outcomes for each piece of art:
- The artwork will not sell and will be returned to the artist.
2. The artwork will pre-sell for the set price of $100, minus 5% processing fee.
3. The artwork will sell at auction for the minimum bid of $40, minus 5% processing fee.
4. The artwork will sell at auction for an amount greater than $40, minus 5% processing fee.
