Join the New Friends of the Beaverton City Library for their annual fall sale happening Oct. 11 to 15, 2017. This will be the largest sale in the Friends’ history, with nearly 10,000 used books, DVDs and CDs available. The sale will be held at Beaverton City Library Main located at 12375 SW 5th St.
Book-lovers will enjoy unbeatable prices with items priced from $1 to $5. The selection will include classics, popular fiction, mysteries, history, foreign languages, travel, cooking, gardening, home improvement, arts, crafts, poetry, health, sports, business, biographies, young adult, science-fiction/fantasy, comic books, graphic novels, children’s books, and more. All sale proceeds will benefit Beaverton City Library.
A Members Only night kicks off the sale, Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. Membership will be available at the door. The sale continues for the public on Thursday, Oct. 12 from
10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday, Oct. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m., everything will be half-price or $5 per paper grocery bag (provided) of books and media.
