KRISTI ROBERTS – CHILDREN’S ART CLASSES
Mondays: 3:45-4:45 pm for ages 7 – 11

Children have an opportunity to try out different mediums including drawing, watercolor, acrylic, pastels, clay and mixed media. Fine art concepts and techniques are taught with each lesson. Varied subjects include landscapes, people, faces, animals, cartooning and perspective.
ADULT CLASSES:
SUSAN PFAHL – ITALIC CALLIGRAPHY
Dates: Saturdays, May 5, 12, and 19
Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00pm
Write your thoughts beautifully! We will learn the Italic Script, starting from the beginning. Whether you have never held a calligraphy pen, or if you have done calligraphy in the past and need a refresher, this is an excellent opportunity to hone your skills
MARY BURGESS – WATERCOLOR – PERSPECTIVE IN THE LANDSCAPE
Dates: Wednesdays, May 9, 16, 23, 30, June 13, 20

In these sessions, we will demystify perspective in order to paint convincing landscapes. Learn how to avoid perspective mistakes through useful class exercises. Each student will receive personal attention and guidance. Some watercolor experience helpful.
BROOKE WALKER-KNOBLICH – OIL PAINTING

ELIZABETH HIGGINS – GELLI-PLATE PRINTING & COLLAGE
Two Day Workshop
Dates: June 9 & 10
Time: 9:00am to 12:00 noon
Print your own unique papers and then collage with them in this two-day workshop. On Saturday, we will make colorful textured papers using a Gel printing plate, texture tools and acrylic paints. Sunday will be spent making collages with these papers.
ANNIE SALNESS – FARMER’S MARKET & PAINTING
One Day Workshop
Date: Either Saturday June 16, or July 21, or August 18
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm
We begin at the Cedar Mill Farmers Market on Saturday morning. You’ll spend an hour taking in the atmosphere, music, smells, scenes, and people, and choose a colorful vegetable, fruit or flower to paint. Back in the Gallery, we’ll go over how to lay out your palette, choose brushes, and use lighting and value in your painting. Then you’ll paint, with hands-on personal instruction.
ELIZABETH HIGGINS – YOUR CREATIVE LIFE: VISION BOARD WORKSHOP
One Day Workshop
Dates: Either Saturday June 23 or Wednesday July 18
Time: 9:00am to 12:00 noon on June 23; 6:00 to 9:00pm on July 18
In this workshop we will create a visual roadmap of our dreams, life goals, and desires using images instead of words. Participants will take home a poster-sized vision board that can be used in a daily practice of training the mind to be more positive and open to believing and receiving our desires. Bring a photo or photocopy of yourself to include in your board.
REBECCA BENOIT – CELL PHONOGRAPHY: FROM SO-SO TO FABULOUS

Explore tools in your cell phone camera that you probably didn’t even know it had such as adjusting focus, exposure, burst mode, white balance and using HDR. We will also cover fundamentals such as composition, exposure, focus and lighting, and play with fun accessories such as magnetic wide angle, macro and telephoto lenses.
