Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 Study (AEP6)

The Opportunity: Collect surveys from attendees at fun festivals, performances, art openings and other cultural events. We’ll be collecting surveys through Spring 2023. If you volunteer for 2+ events, you’ll also receive a free ArtPass Card (value of $25) as a thank you!

About the Study: In 2015, Washington County arts organizations and events generated more than $21 million a year in economic activity ($13.8 mil by direct spending of nonprofits and $7.2 mil by arts audiences). These numbers are taken from the Arts & Economic Prosperity Study 5 (AEP5) study, and helps us prove that the arts means business!

Tualatin Valley Creates is participating in the study again this year, conducting AEP6 for Washington County. This national study captures the economic impact nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and events play across all 50 states and DC.  Read more about the study here.
