Winter Warmer Reading Challenge at North Plains Public Library

North Plains, OR: In January and February, fight off the post-holiday, winter blahs with a toasty and creative reading challenge! Get started at the North Plains Public Library or on our website. Your next favorite book is waiting! 

The Winter Warmer Reading Challenge concludes with a hot cocoa party on Friday, Feb 28th 4:30-6 p.m. in the library. Stop by for hot cocoa, a free homemade bookmark, and share about the books you discovered. 

The North Plains Public Library is in the heart of North Plains at 31334 NW Commercial St. We serve 6,000 city and county residents with a collection of 16,000 items in a charming lodge-style library building. We are a member of Washington County Cooperative Library Services giving cardholders access to 1.4 million physical and downloadable books, audiobooks, movies, and more! Home Depot Building Workshop:

The North Plains Public Library and Home Depot present a free workshop at the Jesse Mays Community Center 30975 NW Hillcrest St, North Plains on January 25th 1 p.m.-3 p.m. 

Join us for a fun afternoon of building with the Home Depot Kids Workshop Crew. This is a family event for children and their caregivers to build a cool wooden project together the Home Depot way. 

After-School Bingo: 

December through May, North Plains Public Library hosts free, after school bingo for kids, tweens, and teens on the last Friday of the month at 4 p.m. Play a lively game of bingo with your friends and win a mystery prize!
