Don’t miss this EXCEPTIONAL opportunity to explore various aspects of professional women’s experiences on the job. The Center for Gender Equity has lined up an incredible panel of women from various fields. They will tell their own stories and provide the participants an opportunity to share their stories as well. As a group we will grapple to understand the challenges professional women often face in the workplace and explore creative solutions.
This event is interactive! And nutritious (brunch is served)!
It will give you a chance to reflect on your own interviewing style, workplace demeanor, and give some tips on how you as a woman can compete and thrive in professions that are often male-dominated and hierarchal.
AMAZING PANEL: Representative Susan McLain (in government), Jennifer Baker (in business administration), Dr. Samantha McDonald (in business administration), Kim Coleman (senior facilities planner at Intel), and Chelsea Tura (UPW facilities process engineer at Intel)
“Women in the Workplace” will start off with a panel discussion in which our guests will share their personal work experiences and challenges. After the panel discussion, brunch will be provided, following which participants will have the opportunity to sit down, ask questions, network with the professionals, and enact specific on-the-job scenarios in a safe environment where they can get constructive feedback.
