OPEN CALL FOR ART
Art About Agriculture Competition and Touring Exhibition 2024:
OSU College of Agricultural Sciences’ Art About Agriculture 2024 Open Call for Art invites artists to consider the lifeblood of Pacific Northwest’s agricultural diversity, economy, communities, and culture: our region’s natural resources. We are seeking submissions of art that highlight the foundational elements of food and fiber production.
The 2024 Jury:
- Robin Hostick, Eugene-based artist and former landscape architect.
- Shobha Jetmalani, Portland-based artist and emeritus physician of Dermatology.
- Alex Levin, Director of OSU’s Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center.
- Jessica Miller, Project Director of the Living Marine Resource Cooperative Science Center (LMRCSC), professor, and marine fisheries ecologist.
- Lauren Ohlgren, Corvallis-based artist, educator, and community developer.
The 2024 tour:
- Giustina Gallery (Corvallis, OR/OSU)
- Central Oregon Community College’s Rotunda Gallery at the Barber Library (Bend, OR)
- Oregon Coast School of Art (Gardiner, OR)
