This competition is open to all high school students who are residents of the First Congressional District of Oregon, which includes all of Tillamook, Clatsop, and Columbia Counties and parts of Multnomah and Washington Counties. Students who are interested in participating in the competition should review the guidelines and release form attached. Artwork may not be larger than 26”x26”x4” when a frame is added. It is not a requirement frame the piece before submitting to the competition, but please keep the measurements above in mind. Congresswoman Bonamici’s office will send the winning piece to Washington, DC for display and can assist with framing process. Each student may submit only one piece to the competition.

All entries for this competition must be received in our Beaverton District Office no later than 5:30 pm on Monday April 29, 2024. Art may be mailed or dropped off in-person by calling 503-469-6010 to arrange a time.  

The District Office is located at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Suite 220, Beaverton, OR 97005. The Congresswoman will host a reception in Oregon for all of the participants in the competition in early May.
