Calling all artists! Join Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail and help bring the Trail to life!
Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail is a free, family-friendly public art trail featuring thirty nearly 5-foot-tall uniquely decorated Cats, positioned at key landmarks and in open spaces around Downtown Portland. LAIKA, in partnership with the Visit Downtown Campaign, and Wild in Art will bring this beloved Cat character to life, celebrating the vibrancy, creativity, and diversity that the Portland area has to offer.
Artists & Designers We Paws-itively Need You!
You are invited to make your submission to decorate a Coraline “Cat” sculpture before it is put on display for eight weeks in the summer/fall of 2024. Your design will contribute to a fun, large-scale public art trail in Downtown and Old Town, engaging with tourists, visitors, and local communities. At the end of this whisker-twitching trail, these unique Cat Sculptures will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
